Installing Visual Studio Tools for Metalama and PostSharp

Visual Studio Tools for Metalama and PostSharp are PostSharp's user interface. Installing them on a developer's computer does not affect the projects until the PostSharp NuGet package has been added to a project. See Installing PostSharp Into a Project for details.

To install Visual Studio Tools for Metalama and PostSharp:

1. Download the VSIX package from Visual Studio Marketplace.

2. Run the *.vsix file.

3. Complete the installation wizard.

4. Open any solution in Visual Studio an complete the initial setup wizard.
