Method ToSerializableId

ToSerializableId()

Returns a string that uniquely identifies the declaration represented by the current reference. This identifier can then be resolved using GetDeclarationFromId(SerializableDeclarationId), even in a different process or with a different version of Metalama than the one that created the id.

Remarks

For a declaration of a file-local type, resolution in another process holds on the machine that produced the identifier, and on another machine only when both projects are built with the pathmap option, as a deterministic build does. See SerializableDeclarationId.
